Rings are worn by both men and women and can be of any quality. Rings can be made of metal, stainless steel, zinc alloy, sterling silver, plastic, wood, bone, glass, gemstone and other materials. They may be set with a "stone" of some sort, which is often a precious or semi-precious gemstone such as ruby, sapphire or emerald, but can also be of almost any material.

How to determine your ring size:

Step 1. Wrap a piece of string or a strip of paper around your finger.

Step 2. Mark the point where the two ends meet.

Step 3. Measure the string or paper against a ruler to get the circumference of your finger.

Step 4. Divide that by 3.14 to get the diameter of your finger.

Step 5. Look up your ring size using the ring size converter
